Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the Product Management team and software team to define software product strategies that will result in sustainable and profitable growth for MALS products
Maintain MALS product and release roadmaps guided by input from customers and field sales representatives that is supported by detailed market analysis
Visit high-value customers and ensure a strong "voice of customer" to generate a clear understanding of their challenges and needs
Inspire and influence colleagues to work across a matrix organization (Hardware R&D, Software R&D, Operations, Manufacturing, Service, Marketing, Sales)
Test new products and collaborate closely with software and hardware test teams
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure product launches are best in class and result in growth targets being met over the lifecycle of the product
Work closely with the Customer Support and Service team to prioritize and resolve customer issues associated with MALS products
Track metrics related to software products and customer satisfaction

Requirements

Bachelor's of Science Degree required. Master's or Ph.D. is preferred in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or chemical engineering
Three (3) years in sales/marketing/product management; Two (2) years in laboratory instrument support, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with light scattering and/or HPLC
Willingness to perform hands-on activities
Open and effective communication style, excellent writing and public presentation skills, strong people skills, cross-organizational teamwork and the ability to interact with and influence the direction of key opinion leaders
Understand and develop a Product Lifecycle for MALS instruments and its supporting software
Ability to travel 20-25% of time both domestically and internationally

Nice to Have

Experience with light scattering and/or HPLC

Qualifications

Bachelor's of Science Degree in a relevant field
Master's or Ph.D. preferred in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or chemical engineering
Experience in sales, marketing, or product management
Experience with laboratory instruments and support

Benefits & Perks

The general base pay ranges from $95,500/year to $127,500/year, based on market location, knowledge, skills, and experience
