Key Responsibilities

Oversee the entire product lifecycle: gather requirements, define features, own the roadmap, and collaborate with engineering and industry partners.
Work closely with stakeholders to define products and solutions that meet their needs.
Make strategic trade-off decisions and communicate your strategy to the broader organization.
Collaborate with various functions at Dolby, including ecosystem teams, marketing, sales, customer support, finance, and legal.
Travel occasionally to Sydney, Australia, and other locations for customer and partner visits.
Manage Dolby Atmos FlexConnect: evolve the current offering, enable technologies like device mapping and calibration, develop solutions, and create a product roadmap for wireless speakers.
Manage AC-4: an audio codec integrated into billions of devices to improve quality and compression.
Manage Dolby Atmos: an immersive audio format providing high-quality sound experiences on compatible devices.

Requirements

10+ years of product management experience with a proven track record.
Technical skills to engage with global engineering teams, preferably with knowledge of embedded software, SDKs, and audio technologies.
Experience in the consumer electronics industry, especially with audio products such as AVRs, DMAs, STBs, TVs, Soundbars, Smart speakers, portable speakers, and/or mobile phones.
Demonstrated expertise in building ecosystems by enabling multiple companies to work together for greater success.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of wireless protocols and standards related to audio devices.
Experience with product roadmaps and managing product lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Formal educational background including a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred.
