About the Role

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, provides comprehensive ad platforms for publishers, advertisers, and media buyers. Powered by premium video content, robust data, and advanced technology, we're making it easier for buyers and sellers to transact across all screens, data types, and sales channels. As a global company, we have offices in nine countries and can insert advertisements around the world. The role involves managing product activities within the Streaming Hub Direct Sales Management team, focusing on Supply Side capabilities such as programmatic ad decisioning, optimization, and compliance, and collaborating with other product managers to support the company's programmatic strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans and maintains the overall roadmap, strategy, and objectives for a product area focusing on building programmatic ad decisioning, optimization, and compliance capabilities for the Programmatic Module.
  • Owns coordination with other Product Managers to drive designs across use cases for that product area.
  • Owns coordination with engineering teams responsible for delivery of the product area.
  • Owns designs and implementation for key capabilities within the Direct Sales Management product suite, specifically the Programmatic Module.
  • Partners with Go-to-market teams for the release of key capabilities within the product suite.
  • Works with stakeholders to identify opportunities, outline business cases, and prioritize features within the roadmap.
  • Demonstrates good project and time management skills to ensure timely delivery and escalates issues as needed.
  • Supports the team in reaching objectives and keeps leadership informed of key developments and issues.
  • Collaborates with other product team members to successfully deliver on dependencies.
  • Maintains relationships with engineering peers within the team.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Deep technical knowledge of programmatic advertising and ad tech platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning or algorithm-driven product development.
  • Experience with complex backend systems.
  • Extensive leadership in technical product environments.
  • Experience managing large enterprise client relationships.
  • Knowledge of relevant advertising technologies and software development methodologies (like Agile).
  • Ability to understand technical discussions and contribute to product development lifecycles.
  • Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to ensure timely delivery.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with machine learning or algorithm-driven product development beyond optimization tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience).
