Sr. Product Marketing Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop messaging and positioning for products and services, including product overview presentations, descriptions, selling guides, web content, and campaign assets.
• Own key marketing collateral such as data sheets, brochures, videos, case studies, white papers, in collaboration with Marketing Communications.
• Co-own product launch activities with Product Management.
• Manage and drive global marketing initiatives for product launches and target audience outreach.
• Provide input to the marketing budget.
• Generate sales training materials and provide training for sales and channel partners.
• Support customer visits, meetings, and product demonstrations as required.
• Support proposal activity by reviewing proposals and generating responses, including standard and custom proposal content.
• Gather competitive and market intelligence; generate analyses on market trends, requirements, opportunities, customer behaviors, and competitors.
• Conduct market research on current and potential markets.
• Support industry conferences and trade shows as needed.

• Report quality problems or defects to management for corrective action.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Marketing with significant technical experience; MS/MBA a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present effectively to management and customers.
• Organized and able to write effectively.
• 7+ years of related product management or product marketing experience.
• Experience in a business selling complex electro-mechanical or technology products.
• Experience in aviation security, event security, or physical security industries is highly preferred.
• Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Willingness to work with different time zones, including attending late night/early morning meetings.
• Travel required: up to 20% domestic and international; ability to acquire necessary travel documents.
