About the Role

Canon USA's Large Format team is seeking an energetic individual to drive the success of our Flatbed printing solutions. This role is crucial in engaging with a multi-channel sales team and customers to identify and overcome sales roadblocks. By developing innovative programs and tools, you will help streamline the sales process and enhance customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will play a key role in communicating market requirements to Manufacturing and R&D, ensuring our products meet and exceed market demands. Your contributions will be vital to our continued growth and success in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new product introduction plans to ensure effective market launch.
Work closely with the Product Planning Manager to develop overall positioning strategy for products.
Design and communicate product image and value to distinguish it from competitors.
Coordinate and collaborate on the development of product brochures, sales tools, presentations, and spreadsheets.
Research, analyze, and report on consumer needs, demands, and preferences to inform product design and development.
Review industry publications and contact dealers and sales staff to stay informed of competitive activity and product positioning.
Conduct customer surveys to identify consumer needs and demands and summarize findings for production design and engineering divisions.
Function as a liaison between production and sales staff to ensure timely communication of technology trends and resolve product-related issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of related experience in marketing and/or product planning.
Previous experience with large format flatbed or hybrid printers and software solutions.
Deep technical understanding of resin, solvent, and UV print technologies.
Analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Comfortable presenting in front of groups.
Flexibility to travel.

Nice to Have

Experience in marketing and/or product planning of large format flatbed or hybrid printers and software solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of related experience.
