About the Role

As a Senior Proposal Manager at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing proposal work for E2E LNG offerings of process technology, and equipment/modular offerings by utilizing Gas Processing, HON LNG and HPS's automation and digital products and capabilities. You will report directly to the Sr. Sales Director of the Honeywell E2E LNG Vertical and work out of the Houston, TX Honeywell Hub location on a Hybrid work schedule. The role involves comprehensive responsibilities including proposal execution, risk management, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, strategic planning, process optimization, data analysis, and innovation to ensure proposal success and market competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-SBG efforts to develop E2E process technology and modular offering proposals for LNG vertical packaging offerings, leveraging UOP, HON LNG, and HPS technologies.
  • Work with HPS, UOP, and Honeywell LNG on Experian DCS templates and other digital offering proposal templates like OTS and APC.
  • Drive the End-to-End process offer proposal, small scale LNG end-to-end solutions, and full modular solutions of UOP and Honeywell LNG process technology.
  • Support the Sales team in developing competitive Techno-Commercial proposals, leading proposal development, solution positioning, clarification meetings, and technology updates.
  • Develop and implement proposal strategies to differentiate solutions based on project-specific needs, including process optimization and project economics.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise in gas processing and LNG system design, participate in customer discussions to provide technical sales support, and understand customer needs.
  • Develop and share thought leadership content such as whitepapers, articles, and presentations to position the company as an industry leader.
  • Support product development initiatives with Business, R&D, and Engineering to enable continued differentiation of gas offerings.
  • Lead the development of simulation and estimation tools to streamline work processes and improve tool functionality and reliability.
  • Collect customer intelligence on regional market trends, competitor strategies, and products, providing information for analysis to Sales, Business, and Offering Managers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the industry with a deep understanding of its trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Experience with simulation tools/software.
  • Experience in technical writing and proposal preparation.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong technical background in Gas Technologies with focus on Adsorbents, Solvents, and Membrane Technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
