Sr. Software Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain complex web applications based on business requirements.
• Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness.
• Assist in project planning and architectural design reviews.
• Utilize Elastic and Dynatrace for application monitoring and performance optimization.
• Mentor other developers on programming issues and exhibit leadership in cross development practices.
• Enhance and support e-commerce sites, sales, intranet, and internal web applications using object-oriented design, web application architecture, and relational database design.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure process consistency and timely completion of deliverables.
• Deliver web solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and Typescript.
• Create software models and diagrams showing application code needed.
• Write SQL queries and maintain normal software functionality through software maintenance and testing.
• Document applications for future maintenance and upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6 years of progressive software development experience.
• Experience conducting architectural design and review.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, web application architecture, and relational database design.
• Experience delivering web and e-commerce solutions using Java, Spring Boot, MVC, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Experience debugging Typescript and jQuery code.
• Experience developing single page web applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
