The role involves working on the devices software management team, which owns software provisioning and management on Rippling managed devices, including software installation, updates, and upgrades, ensuring security, functionality, and user satisfaction across customer devices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop top-tier software solutions
Ensure the delivery of products meets the highest standards of quality
Assume clear ownership and responsibility for one or multiple product domains
Collaborate with company partners and end-users to gather constructive feedback and continually refine product offerings
Engage deeply with the product's objectives to ensure Rippling retains its competitive edge in the market

Requirements

A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
Proven experience in building large-scale platforms for both web and mobile applications
Demonstrable expertise in building distributed services with high availability and strict SLAs
Solid foundational knowledge in computer science, architecture, and common design patterns
Strong cross-functional communication skills with product managers, designers, etc.
Passion for working in a product-focused environment with customer impact

Nice to Have

Proficiency in Python, Django, and MongoDB
Experience with IOT
Experience with AWS
Prior experience in Device Management

Qualifications

Relevant professional experience of at least 8 years
Experience in building large-scale platforms for web and mobile applications
Knowledge of architecture and common design patterns

Salary range for US San Francisco Bay Area: $180,000 - $315,000 per year
