The role of a Staff Product Manager involves defining product roadmaps, collaborating across teams, and making a significant impact on the DDI market, with opportunities for managerial and technical growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive next generation Infoblox NIOS DDI product including product roadmap, pricing and licensing, and value propositions.
  • Define requirements for NIOS DDI features and capabilities related to physical/virtual appliances, value added services, private cloud (VMware, OpenStack, Nutanix, etc.) as well as public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) platforms.
  • Work closely with engineering and driving decisions on feature/cost trade-off, ROI, and impact on customer experience.
  • Work closely with other product managers to ensure product features and pricing/licensing model address necessary aspects for the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product and technical marketing functions in the development of data sheets, presentations, product positioning statements, sales training, competitive analysis, and FAQs.
  • Develop business cases for new concepts, including opportunity size, financial impact, market share, cost of sales, and profitability expectations.
  • Lead customer evaluation programs.

Requirements

  • 8-14 years of product management experience with at least 6 years of experience in networking products.
  • Software licensing or cloud licensing experience is an asset.
  • Solid knowledge of physical/virtual appliances based on VMware, KVM, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience with network services, such as DNS, DHCP, and SCP is a plus.
  • Ability to identify and articulate customer problems and translate those into product strategy and requirements.
  • Ability to lead internal cross-functional teams to successfully deliver features.
  • Demonstrated success in managing relationships with partners, customers, and sales teams, particularly in difficult or challenging situations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering required; MBA preferred.

  • Experience with network services such as DNS, DHCP, and SCP.
  • Experience with software licensing or cloud licensing.
