About the Role

The role involves leading the strategy and execution for intellectual property products, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, to help entrepreneurs and small businesses protect and commercialize their ideas.

Key Responsibilities

Take a hands-on approach to leadership of your projects, independently owning planning and end-to-end execution of features and programs, and defining the roadmap.
Focus on improving customer satisfaction to enable long-term relationships with LegalZoom beyond the point of formation.
Be intimately connected with, and a champion for, our customers.
Possess a learn fast, fail fast mindset by identifying key opportunities, understanding risk, and iterating quickly.
Leverage data and insights to drive quality customer experiences and business outcomes.
Understand the sales funnel, diagnose problems, and lead brainstorming sessions for solutions.
Mentor junior product managers and contribute to scaling the product organization.

Requirements

Proven track record of building and delivering successful ecommerce or tech products, ideally 4+ years of product management experience.
A data-driven mindset with the ability to structure data analyses, interpret data in context, and model changes.
Experience leading complex, high-impact offerings with a demonstrated record of delivering excellent results.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to transform challenging user experience, business, and technology problems into actionable solutions.
Outstanding storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to adapt style for different audiences and present effectively to executives.
Background in consumer-focused products or products aimed at SMB end-users.
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field; MBA or technical graduate degree is a plus.
