Staff Product Marketing Manager, Security

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build the go-to-market strategy on how to evangelize the need for identity as security, and how to secure the new wave of AI, including defining investment strategies for events, content, and campaigns.
• Create differentiated security messaging for sales and customers that conveys Okta's security value proposition.
• Build security thought leadership programs through white papers, research studies, and reports.
• Represent Okta at security events to raise the company's profile and establish a unique point of view, including defining event participation and messaging.
• Support security product launches and new content campaigns across the company to generate awareness and impact.
• Work cross-functionally with corporate security, business technology, product management, engineering, sales, and enablement teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience as a product marketer in cybersecurity or identity management.
• Experience driving large-scale, company-impacting product launches.
• Experience writing or leading security-focused thought leadership and customer-facing content.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders with differing priorities.
• High sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• A background in security software and understanding of the security landscape.

Nice to Have

• CS Degree or technical background.
• Cloud Security Experience.

• Educational background in security or related fields (implied by experience requirements).
