Staff Project Manager, Device Certification

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the planning and execution of lead device and solution engineering projects to ensure successful delivery
• Efficiently manage project timelines, certification requests, and work requests
• Lead project and leadership team meetings, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders and collaboration across DISH teams
• Provide weekly updates to project plans and reporting dashboards in collaboration with Product and Project Managers
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, fostering collaboration and excellence
• Manage certification device tracking, SIM card inventory, and asset management systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in testing mobile devices and project management
• Skilled in wireless device certification tools and processes
• Proficient in managing wireless industry projects and product lines, including 5G network product certification
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• PMP certification or equivalent project management expertise

Nice to Have

• Experience with 5G network product certification
• Experience managing wireless industry projects

Qualifications

• Educational background in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field
• Experience in testing mobile devices and project management
