The role of the Strategic Account Executive involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, growing account portfolios, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer business objectives in a dynamic and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retain and grow assigned account portfolio by selling unserviced sites and introducing products, services, and solutions to meet customer objectives.
  • Maximize company services across the customer's footprint by working closely with branch teams and customers.
  • Manage a $7M+ portfolio of business with a sales growth goal of $1.5M+ annually.
  • Profitably negotiate customer contract renewals with a target of 70% current contracts renewed each year.
  • Leverage LAMP principles to broaden customer relationships and identify sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement customized business plans to identify growth opportunities and harvest business through strategic planning.
  • Focus on profitability by using tools to measure profit and develop strategies for better/more profitable deals.
  • Ensure retention of existing customers through proactive renewal negotiations and extensions.
  • Maintain relationship wellness through ongoing risk assessments, customer satisfaction measurements, and action plans to address concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of large account management, sales, or operations experience.
  • Ability to leverage existing data and business intelligence to develop targeted growth plans.
  • Experience in conducting business reviews and strategic discussions with customers.
  • Proficiency in documenting contract details, contacts, risk assessments, and sales opportunities in CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Use of Miller Heiman (LAMP) methodologies to assess and develop plans for customer relationship growth.
  • Utilization of profitability measurement tools to assess and develop renewal strategies.
  • Ability to measure relationship wellness through risk assessments and customer satisfaction metrics.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman (LAMP) methodologies.
  • Strong strategic planning and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in large account management, sales, or operations.
