Strategy Analyst - Customer Retention

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Use data insights to drive initiatives and offers that strengthen customer loyalty within an evolving content delivery ecosystem
• Develop and leverage financial models to inform strategic decisions, guiding business initiatives to maximize the video services bottom line
• Analyze industry trends to inform new retention strategies and support overall business direction
• Serve as the primary owner for key product initiatives, driving roadmap development, cross-functional alignment, and execution from concept to launch
• Own end-to-end vendor management for key products, including relationship oversight, performance tracking, and contract negotiation
• Lead P&L management for a ~$400MM program, with responsibility for driving financial performance and maximizing subscriber penetration
• Spearhead AI/ML-driven initiatives focused on reducing churn and enhancing operational efficiencies
• Effectively communicate complex data-driven recommendations to stakeholders, including SVP-level executives
• Build strong internal partnerships to manage the implementation of operational tactics
• Use SQL, advanced analytics, and creative modeling to serve as a key consultant to the business, influencing strategic decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (4-year) in a field demonstrating logical thinking
• Minimum of 4 years in a data-driven analytics or strategic role
• Proven expertise in SQL, Tableau, and Excel for developing analytic models and dynamic reports that guide business direction
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting for project-based decision-making
• Ability to work effectively with large datasets
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey data insights into meaningful narratives for both peer and executive audiences
• Excellent project and time management skills; adept at managing multiple projects concurrently

• A master's degree in a relevant field
