Strategy and Intelligence Analyst (Provider Solutions/Healthcare)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitates business problem solving through structured hypotheses, detailed analyses, and synthesized insights leading to recommendations to senior management.
• Supports and executes large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and helps coordinate strategic discussions with senior leaders.
• Develops and shares content for presentations and reports, as well as supporting analytics, for senior leaders.
• Translates complex data insights across customer, financial, market, and business trends into meaningful business strategies and recommendations.
• Gathers business intelligence from various sources including company data, industry reports, public information, or third-party data sets.
• Applies program and statistical rigor to projects to create defensible insights and recommendations in an imperfect data landscape.
• Designs ETL workflows and analyzes healthcare data using SQL to create impactful visualizations that drive clinical and operational insights.
• Maintains digital assets and solutions across the business unit including Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent with typically 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 4-year bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, information systems, technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of strategy or consulting experience (in a Big 4 accounting firm or similar environment).
• Strong usage of Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and data visualization applications such as PowerBI, including data modeling and DAX.
• Ability to evaluate industry trends, develop long-term implications, and recommend pragmatic strategies.
• Ability to bring structure to ill-defined problems, synthesize insights, and ensure credible, actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of financial modeling, financial planning, business processes, and SG&A functions.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship is not available.

Nice to Have

• Healthcare industry experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in strategy or consulting.
