About the Role

The university is seeking a Social Media Specialist to support its varsity Esports program, focusing on content creation and social media coordination for esports events and teams.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate posts for all team matches to social media platforms such as Discord, Twitter, Twitch, and Facebook.
Standardize content across all social media profiles.
Design and execute strategies for social media growth.
Coordinate with the Esports broadcast technician to develop stream assets.
Develop and distribute copy covering SNHU Esports matches.
Distribute information for all SNHU Esports events.
Participate as a member of the SNHU Esports content team.

Requirements

Enrollment in an Undergraduate program at SNHU.
Work study part of financial aid package, with students with work study potentially prioritized.
Strong social media knowledge.
Reliability and punctuality.
Respectfulness and exceptional communication skills.
Experience with various technologies including Twitch and Discord.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with collegiate esports.
Knowledge of technology utilized in esports productions such as Streamlabs OBS, Vmix, Twitch, YouTube.

Qualifications

Enrollment in an undergraduate program at SNHU.
Work study participation.

Benefits & Perks

Hourly pay range of $12.00 - $15.00, based on skills, qualifications, experience, and internal considerations.
Flexible shift hours between 8:00am-10:00pm.
