Supplemental Health Product Management and Development, Remote

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert on Aetna Supplemental Health products and services and convey information clearly to diverse internal and external audiences.
• Lead and oversee product marketing efforts including the development and positioning of the Supplemental Health value proposition.
• Collaborate on Supplemental Health Product development, requirements, specifications, and roadmaps, working closely with stakeholders to create clear product/service vision and achievable goals.
• Assess market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform product strategy and drive the development of innovative and competitive products.
• Work cross-functionally to manage multiple initiatives including timelines, risks, contingency plans, and deliverables.
• Collaborate across business partners, including incorporating feedback from clients and members, to evolve provider navigation, product strategy, and associated roadmap.
• Assist in the management of product portfolios, including planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to ensure timely and effective product delivery.
• Provide support for Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) during peak times.
• Provide additional compliance support for Supplemental Health products.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in the voluntary, worksite industry, and/or insurance industry.
• Experience with Voluntary/Supplemental Health products and knowledge of Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity coverages.
• Marketing and communications skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional project management initiatives.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt to ongoing change, think outside of the box, and be truly distinctive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
