System Planning Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage various system planning studies, coordinating with internal resources and external consultants to ensure timely delivery.
• Create intuitive and comprehensive dashboards that illustrate relevant project information, including key performance indicators, milestones, and progress updates, and regularly communicate these insights to stakeholders.
• Design and implement effective project management tools to track the deliverables of the System Planning team, ensuring they are user-friendly and accurately reflect progress.
• Work closely with the System Planning team to identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient workflows to enhance productivity.
• Develop detailed process manuals and documentation to support onboarding of new hires, ensuring clarity and regular updates.
• Organize and lead recurring meetings with internal and external stakeholders to discuss and resolve ongoing project issues, acting as a liaison between teams.
• Create and communicate presentation materials for reports and updates to various stakeholders.
• Undertake other job-related duties as assigned, remaining flexible and adaptable to changing organizational needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field.
• Proven experience in leading corporate initiatives and managing projects.
• Experience with developing tracking tools and dashboards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with power system study tools such as PSSE and PSCAD will be considered a bonus.
