About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Team Lead of Business Development & Digital Revenue who will play a pivotal role in recruiting, training, and developing business development account executives who are new to the media industry. The ideal candidate will not only have a proven track record of driving new business but also the leadership skills to mentor, coach, and build a strong, sustainable sales team. This is an opportunity to shape the next generation of advertising professionals while driving revenue growth across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and train business development account executives, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to succeed in media and digital advertising.
  • Incorporate structured training programs, sales playbooks, and performance benchmarks tailored to new-to-industry sellers.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to ensure team members build confidence, expertise, and strong client relationships.
  • Lead the team in identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities across broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Foster a positive, performance-driven culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage emerging digital solutions to position the team and station as trusted marketing partners.
  • Track and evaluate team performance, providing actionable feedback and strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of sales experience in media, advertising, or digital platforms.
  • Ability to train and develop entry-level talent into successful account executives.
  • Strong understanding of media sales, digital advertising products (OTT/CTV, programmatic, social, search, display, video), and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership skills with a passion for mentoring others.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining focus on long-term team development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of sales experience in media, advertising, or digital platforms.
