Technical Manager - Master Data and Enterprise Datawarehouse program

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-level Master data management and data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and execute data warehousing strategies that align with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team.
• Oversee the development and optimization of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Ensure efficient data extraction from multiple sources and accurate data transformation.
• Manage data quality, security, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Plan, schedule, and execute data warehousing projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Manage budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies for projects.
• Supervise and manage a team of data engineers, Business analysts, and QA.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing and Cloud.
• Evaluate and implement new tools and methodologies to improve data warehousing processes.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.
• Monitor and maintain the health of data warehouse systems, ensuring high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Create documentation for processes, systems, and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 12+ years of experience in data warehousing and MDM, with 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proficiency in master data, data warehousing and ETL concepts.
• Strong knowledge of Data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (GCP preferred).
• Proven experience with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for meetings and workshops.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, especially GCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
