Technical Operations Program Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive initiatives that enhance platform stability and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to meet project goals.
• Provide clear direction and motivate team members.
• Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
• Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and potential issues.
• Track and evaluate program performance against established KPIs and objectives, and make adjustments as necessary.
• Identify and address challenges and obstacles during program execution, finding creative solutions to complex problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience influencing and driving strategic, cross-functional initiatives within large organizations.
• Technical understanding of DISH set top boxes and operations.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
• Analytical and symbolic reasoning skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnel.
• Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and basic working knowledge of other G Suite and Microsoft Office products.
• Sharp attention to detail with high personal standards for quality and thoroughness.
• Technical comprehension with the ability to quickly learn about new products and services.
• Well-developed verbal and written presentation skills.
