Technical Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including Workday technical staff, HR Information Technology team(s), business stakeholders and SMEs, and other technical staff.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, provide clear direction, and ensure effective communication.
• Foster a collaborative environment and escalate any conflicts or issues that arise.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
• Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
• Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Draft pre-read, post-read, and general meeting notes and share with stakeholders and meeting attendees in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.

Requirements

• Keen attention to detail.
• Understanding of general business processes and HR/IT Technology.
• Ability to maintain and manage HR and PII data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate when necessary.
• Knowledgeable with Workday, Google Suite, Jira or similar software.
• Highly proficient communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Comfortable with presenting and working with multiple levels of leadership.

Nice to Have

• Agile/Scrum practices experience preferred.
