Technical Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage technical implementation through design, development, and deployment of business intelligence, Data Science, and Data Engineering projects.
• Provide guidance for a diverse team of BI Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists.
• Serve as liaison between client and Blend360 project team, managing risk and issues with the client while leading project delivery.
• Ensure smooth collaboration and communication among the team, including providing status updates and progress reports.
• Perform routine software testing of team members' work to guarantee accurate and complete processes and applications.
• Utilize awareness and ensure compliance with all organizational software development standards, data dictionaries, industry best practices, and security, privacy, and retention requirements.
• Manage technical projects related to data warehousing/database construction, including design, development, and implementation of logical and physical processes.
• Oversee a team of Business Systems Analysts, Data Analysts, and Data Engineers in data discovery, use case/story creation, development of data tables, triggers, ETL, and stored procedures.
• Ensure the delivery of all documentation such as Technical Requirements Documentation, Business Requirements Documentation, Database Schemas, and Data Dictionaries.
• Understand how the data warehouse supports BI capabilities and analytic development, including predictive and descriptive models.
• Conduct meetings to discuss project status and participate in company tasks like training, knowledge sharing, and hiring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a closely related IT field.
• 3 years of relevant professional experience, including experience driving compliance with organizational software development standards, data dictionaries, industry best practices, and security, privacy, and retention requirements.
• 3 years of experience ensuring the delivery of project-related documentation such as Technical Requirements Documentation, Business Requirements Documentation, Database Schemas, and Data Dictionaries.
• 2 years of experience with SQL and Power BI.
• 2 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of business analysis reporting applications.
• 2 years of experience in database construction and monitoring, including discovery and requirements-gathering phases.
