About the Role

As a technical project manager on our team, you will work directly with clients and an integrated, multi-functional team to develop new energetic systems or refine existing systems to counter unique mission sets. You will focus on the full life cycle of projects from initial concept design through testing and eventual deployment. The work is challenging, dynamic, relevant, and important to the security of the United States. This role involves careful analysis, effective communication, and proactive risk management to ensure project success and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of energetic or explosive systems, work, resources, quality plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Proactively identify project risks, assess quantitative data, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Develop presentations and dashboards to communicate project status to sponsors.
  • Support the management of project budgets and develop and track detailed schedules.
  • Monitor and manage scope change and assess risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications to ensure project goals are met.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience with technical and weapon or energetic system projects, including successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial position.
  • Experience taking ownership of projects.
  • Experience with writing and editing.
  • Experience with project management and development, including effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Support experience in energetic or explosive systems, work, resources, quality plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ability to determine client business and technical requirements.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Nice to Have

  • Experience coordinating with test ranges and test planning.
  • Experience writing and interpreting statements of work and subcontracts.
  • Experience in MS Project, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Experience with risk management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
