About the Role

The Technical Solutions Lead role at Kforce Technology Staffing involves leading technical discussions with carrier customers, guiding cross-functional teams, collaborating with internal R&D and external vendors, and developing technical processes related to embedded systems, wireless communication, and network hardware. The position is based in Fremont, CA, with a focus on 4G/5G modem technologies, RF, antennas, Ethernet, and related hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead in-depth technical discussion with carrier customers regarding hardware and software technologies including 4G/5G modem, RF, memory, antenna, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and related products such as 5G FWA, Wi-Fi routers, and small cells.
  • Guide technical solution team members to provide the best services cross-functionally and to clients, while continuously enhancing their technical and communication skills.
  • Work with internal R&D teams and external chipset vendors to debug technical issues, propose and validate solutions, and follow up until issues are resolved and accepted by customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build strong partnerships with chipset vendors and act as a technical interface.
  • Devise roadmaps and communicate implementation plans for new software patches or releases from chipset vendors.
  • Work with customers and engineering teams to create recipes for software upgrades.
  • Assist the Account Manager to ensure projects are completed on time with quality standards.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to improve development capabilities.
  • Develop and document technical processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; post-graduate degree preferred.
  • 10 years of related working experience.
  • Working experience with chipset vendor, device vendor, carrier, or other technology companies is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of FWA devices including hardware and software technologies related to modem, RF, memory, antenna, Ethernet, etc.
  • Excellent communication and customer interface skills.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Chinese speaking.
  • Location preferably in New Jersey or Eastern time zone.

Qualifications

  • Educational background in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Relevant experience with hardware and software technologies in wireless communication.
