Teradata - Datastage ETL Data Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Teradata ETL jobs and data pipelines.
• Support enterprise data warehouse solutions leveraging Teradata and tools.
• Extract data from various sources, transform, and load into target systems.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across systems.
• Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts architecture.
• Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage Teradata, SQL Server, and Oracle database migrations including code migration, data loads, and server retirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.
• Write and translate SQL queries and perform SQL data validation.
• Perform performance tuning of SQL queries.
• Define, manage, and monitor job schedules, troubleshoot issues within Autosys.
• Implement job schedules, dependencies, and workflows within Autosys.
• Analyze and resolve issues with Autosys jobs and processes.

Requirements

• SQL proficiency with at least an intermediate skill level.
• Ability to manage Teradata, SQL Server, and Oracle database migrations.
• Experience with troubleshooting data integration issues.
• Solid skills in writing and translating SQL queries.
• Experience with performance tuning of SQL queries.
• Knowledge of managing job schedules and workflows within Autosys.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL (intermediate skill level minimum).
