About the Role

The Territory Account Manager at Johnson & Johnson MedTech - Vision is responsible for representing the organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects to sell ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses. The role involves applying knowledge of products, services, and marketing campaigns to close sales, maintain customer relations, and understand customer needs and business operations across segments. The position supports the company's mission to develop smarter, less invasive, and personalized vision treatments, addressing a wide range of eye care needs from pediatric to aging eye, and helping patients on their journey to wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the organization by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects to sell ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses.
  • Apply a broad knowledge of the organization's products, services, and marketing campaigns to close sales and maintain relations with specifically identified customers.
  • Uncover and understand customer's strategic priorities, buying motives, end user needs, office processes, and business operations across segments while demonstrating the ability to gain an order or product commitment.
  • Learn the organization's products, services, and policies through participation in sales training activities, studying marketing techniques, attending seminars, and working in the field with more experienced sales representatives.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of organization's products and services, articulate added value, secure orders, assist in inventory/dx lenses control, keep customers informed of supply and price trends, and maintain records and reports of all activities.
  • Differentiate products scientifically and economically to customers in a compliant manner while maintaining sales within the assigned territory.
  • Understand customer's business and segment to position products and economic solutions as the best option, delivering tailored clinical and financial messages.
  • Effectively communicate and utilize multiple resources and tools to deliver clear sales messages and complete pre-call plans for all accounts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
  • At least 2 years of business-to-business and/or medical sales experience or equivalent sales/industry experience.
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to travel as needed, including overnight and/or weekend travel.
  • Excellent interpersonal, selling technique, business acumen, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of sales applications and principles.
  • Residence in or near the geographic area.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs periodically, sit for up to 2 hours, climb stairs, walk quickly between interactions, and travel independently by car or airplane.
