Trademark and Licensing Student Assistant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with social media accounts associated with Office of Trademark Management & Licensing on Instagram, X & Facebook
• Create marketing content associated with current products and trends that can be used to promote the Auburn brand throughout the semester, along with highlighting licensed vendors in correlation with events on campus
• Explore new social media channels and trends that can further push the AU Love it Show it branding
• Generate social media calendars and strategies for product campaigns as well as track social media performance & report results of marketing initiatives
• Assist in other aspects of the Licensing and Merchandise department, if necessary

Requirements

• Enrolled at Auburn University
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• Interest in building a career in content creation/digital marketing/athletics/retail
• Knowledge of social media platforms & current trends in the industry
• Available approximately 10-15 hours per week throughout 2-3 days in office per week during Fall 2025 semester
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and willingness to think outside the box for trending posts
• Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with social media content creation and management
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools
