Virtus from FIS is a leading provider of alternative investment services and technology solutions, specializing in delivering comprehensive front, middle, and back-office services to asset managers, banks, and other institutional investors. Virtus helps its clients manage their alternative investment portfolios, including CLO/CDOs, private equity, hedge funds, and other alternative assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide collateral administration services, such as cash & data reconciliations, portfolio testing, and payment calculations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, working alongside trustees and accountants to administer collateral/syndicated loan portfolios and report on client portfolios.
  • Oversee daily transaction and reporting activity of assigned outsourcing relationships.
  • Support personnel at client institutions in day-to-day routines and financial processing.
  • Guarantee quality service levels, perform daily servicing activities, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Assist in developing procedures that ensure processing functions are completed accurately and timely with minimal risk exposure.
  • May select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operations.
  • May establish operational objectives, work plans, and delegate assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Typically, at least 4 years of financial services industry experience managing institutional assets.
  • At least one year of leadership responsibility.
  • Experience with structured finance, preferably CLO/CDOs, syndicated loans, or corporate trust securities.
  • Working knowledge of cash reconciliations, financial transaction processing, trade settlements, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, colleagues, and clients (internal & external).

Nice to Have

  • Direct work experience with waterfall calculations and compliance testing.
