About the Role

Urban Outfitters is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Urban Outfitters' paid marketing programs, with a strong emphasis on Paid Search Advertising. This person will partner with cross-functional teams at Urban Outfitters to understand the business and oversee third-party agencies to react to trends and drive top-line revenue at a profitable ROAS along with new customer growth. The Manager is also responsible for delivering tactical strategies that align with brand goals and reporting on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with marketing agencies on the implementation of channel strategies, with a primary focus on Paid Search Marketing (Text, Shopping, YouTube, Marketing Data feeds, etc.)
  • Optimize paid search campaigns to drive a profitable ROAS, top-line demand, and acquire new customers
  • Share marketing plans and performance with key internal business partners
  • Attend appropriate meetings to understand business needs and manage agencies as they execute plans within each channel to capitalize on trends, support category demand, promotions, and/or brand campaigns
  • Own reporting and communication of channel results on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to internal partners
  • Continuously review the agencies' service, processes, and systems to ensure they meet excellent quality standards
  • Monitor the marketplace and competitors, keeping the Brand informed of industry initiatives and key developments
  • Lead the end-to-end management of campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft, YouTube, and other search platforms
  • Continuously monitor and tweak campaigns for maximum results using analytics, testing, audience targeting, bid optimization, etc.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing or Business, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of digital marketing experience at a retailer (in-house) or agency, with a strong focus on managing paid search programs to a profitable ROI
  • In-depth knowledge of Paid Search digital marketing channels (Text, Shopping, YouTube, demand Gen, Marketing Data feeds, etc.) and tools (Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies and tactics
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, positive, professional, and timely
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Focus on small details to produce high-quality work
  • Customer-oriented mindset, with experience in customer satisfaction surveys, feedback loops, and customer journey mapping

Nice to Have

  • Experience analyzing marketing campaigns and presenting recommendations based on results
