About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our global multi-disciplinary team to define, design, build, and test our next generation products across the product lifecycle from initial conception to mass production with new ideas and out-of-the-box engineering solutions.
• Propose circuit topologies to comply with requirements.
• Design and build prototypes to test and validate new concepts or create new development tools.
• Research new technologies with continuous learning of what would be possible for future use.
• Participate in peer design reviews and think critically about new product concepts, asking provocative questions for positive change.
• Generate test protocols and test reports per SharkNinja specifications; proactively communicate testing status; automate test procedures when needed.
• Review and interpret test results, providing feedback on product improvement solutions.
• Analyze EBOMs and CBOMs to control costs and drive cost reduction of solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in embedded electronic design, including hardware (schematic capture and PCB layout) and firmware (C and ASM).
• Knowledge of analog and digital embedded design, preferably in consumer products or similar fields.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define electrical and firmware architecture.
• Familiarity with product development aspects such as team task tracking, BOM cost tracking, DFMEA, documentation, and PLM systems.
• Experience designing and building prototypes, testing, and validating concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking in engineering design.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with contract manufacturers and global electrical engineering teams.
• Knowledge of automation of test procedures.
• Experience with cost analysis and reduction strategies in product design.

Qualifications

• Formal experience or education in electronic engineering or related fields (implied by technical requirements).
