About the Role

The US Marketing Brand Lead at Dyne Therapeutics is an experienced and hands-on strategic thinker responsible for defining and executing the US brand strategy across healthcare professional and patient communities in neuromuscular disease. This role involves driving the success of treatments from early market introduction, collaborating cross-functionally with commercial leadership, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, Market Access, and Field teams. The position is based in Waltham, MA, and focuses on developing brand strategies, campaigns, and promotional activities to support the company's mission of delivering functional improvements for individuals with genetically driven neuromuscular diseases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand strategies and campaigns to increase product uptake and utilization at launch and beyond.
  • Lead development of value propositions, disease awareness, and promotional campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Create compelling messaging and programming for patients and caregivers through close collaboration with the patient advocacy team.
  • Select and direct creative agency partners for disease awareness and promotional materials.
  • Identify and implement personal and non-personal promotional tactics, including digital strategies, to reach physicians and patients effectively.
  • Drive innovation in commercial strategies and tactics to build brand awareness, excitement, and prescribing intent.
  • Leverage market research, data, and customer insights to inform brand strategy and tactical decisions.
  • Engage with thought leaders and stay informed on scientific literature and disease landscape.
  • Maintain strong relationships with field leadership and teams; manage field advisory boards to understand brand challenges and opportunities.
  • Oversee brand-specific budgets and support achievement of targets, KPIs, and metrics related to HCP adoption and advocacy.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to cross-functional teams to meet brand and audience goals.
  • Coordinate with the US Marketing Team on tactics with global reach, including congresses, KOL engagement, education, awareness, and digital initiatives.
  • Work closely with legal to ensure compliance and governance for all commercial activities and materials.

Requirements

  • Proven brand and marketing expertise with experience developing comprehensive brand strategies in pharmaceutical or biotech companies.
  • Successful track record of launching and commercializing biotech products, especially in the rare disease market.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership experience in high-growth environments, with the ability to set expectations and deliver results.
  • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD) preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in biopharmaceutical marketing and operations.
  • Enterprise mindset with the ability to operate in a start-up environment while maintaining a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues in the U.S. to align marketing objectives and strategies.
  • Demonstrates a willingness and capability to be hands-on and contribute directly to deliverables.
  • Ability to travel as requested.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (required).
