About the Role

Walmart Healthcare Research Institute (WHRI) helps communities Live Better and Save Money by increasing access to healthcare through research. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new partnering opportunities within pharma accounts, matching WHRI product portfolio to partners' needs
  • Analyze business objectives and customer needs to solution design, create and execute impactful partnerships and drive growth
  • Build and maintain high-level pharma client relationships, and manage internal and external stakeholder engagement to achieve partnering objectives
  • Align book of work against strategic objectives and revenue projections
  • Contribute to WHRI portfolio development and strategic direction by communicating client and market feedback to Leadership team

Requirements

  • Proven experience in partnering with pharma companies and clinical research organizations, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities
  • Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive business and growth strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-level internal and external business relationships within pharma and CROs
  • Expertise in managing budgets, analyzing financial reports, and making informed financial decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related area and 15 years' experience in global matrix drug development research and operational strategies
  • Prior work experience in project/program management, including risk assessment, timeline and budget management, and contingency planning
  • Prior work experience leading cross-functional matrix teams
