About the Role

The Vaccine Account Executive role is responsible for managing B2B customer relationships within the healthcare provider ecosystem in Atlanta East and surrounding areas. The position involves engaging clinical and non-clinical stakeholders, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored value propositions to support GSK's vaccines portfolio. The role is pivotal in supporting local market strategies and product launches, contributing to GSK's mission to protect global health through innovative vaccines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts such as large primary care provider groups, medical groups, hospitals, and public health providers.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to understand the needs of clinical and non-clinical decision-makers and provide tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of market access and financial aspects of vaccine sales to drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute local-level business and strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with customers to ensure long-term engagement and satisfaction.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of GSK's vaccines portfolio and competitive products to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Manage contracts and negotiate terms to align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Leverage networking skills to build connections within the local healthcare ecosystem.
  • Utilize digital tools and omnichannel engagement strategies to enhance customer interactions.
  • Apply AI and data analytics to gain insights and support informed decision-making.
  • Support and lead product launches within the assigned territory.
  • Uphold ethical standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations and GSK policies.
  • Demonstrate resilience and courage in overcoming challenges and driving results.
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment to drive team success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 4+ years of Pharmaceutical/Medical/Healthcare sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • Experience with healthcare contracting and working with large provider groups or hospital systems.
  • Knowledge of vaccines marketplace, GSK and competitive portfolios, and customer decision-making processes.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.

Nice to Have

  • 3+ years of account management experience with hospitals, hospital systems, or public health systems.
  • 2+ years of vaccines sales experience.
  • Experience calling on clinical and non-clinical decision makers.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Solid strategic aptitude and advanced business acumen.

  • Educational background: Bachelor's Degree.
