Vice President, Affliate Engagement and Network Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all affiliate promotion priorities and planning for company networks.
• Oversee media buying, negotiation, plan auditing, and results reporting.
• Manage local affiliate media support as needed.
• Coordinate with Programming on annual programming event calendars.
• Work with Affiliate Relations to prioritize sales opportunities for local affiliates.
• Collaborate with Network Marketing and Creative Services to develop creative assets supporting affiliate promotion.
• Identify, set, and communicate affiliate promotion priorities.
• Develop and maintain communication strategies and relationships across affiliates to enhance engagement.
• Amplify Affiliate Relations communications on sales opportunities to local promotion personnel.
• Assign production and delivery of affiliate presentation materials and assets.
• Communicate with affiliates about network promotion and marketing priorities, reporting feedback, successes, and challenges.
• Collaborate with Affiliate Relations, Network Marketing, Graphics, Creative Services, and senior leadership on strategic deliverables and outside media strategy.
• Manage and implement outside media for the network.
• Report to SVP of Network Marketing.

Requirements

• Professional work experience in marketing, affiliate relations, and/or media buying at a television or cable network, studio, television group, or major market TV station.
• Media strategy, negotiation, and buying experience that met delivery, efficiency, and results metrics.
• Effective relationship and communication skills, with poise in executive and professional presentations.
• Familiarity with strategic and creative marketing for linear TV audience development and retention.
• Collaborative and adaptive approach working across teams and organizations.
• Ability to work full-time in the Chicago corporate office location.
