Key Responsibilities

  • Define TELUS Health's enterprise strategy across B2B, B2B2C, and direct-to-consumer channels, focusing on revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
  • Facilitate annual strategic planning, setting goals and measuring performance, integrating voice-of-the-customer and experience mapping into initiatives.
  • Act as executive sponsor for high-priority, cross-functional initiatives supporting long-term transformation.
  • Identify and evaluate new markets, strategic partnerships, and acquisition opportunities that contribute to enterprise valuation.
  • Support TELUS Ventures and M&A activities by providing market insights to evaluate growth and synergy potential.
  • Lead development of customer segmentation strategies and go-to-market frameworks for regional growth.
  • Oversee TELUS Health's global brand architecture, messaging, and integrated marketing functions, including digital, content, campaigns, and communications.
  • Drive thought leadership globally through strategic content, public speaking, media engagement, and digital storytelling.
  • Develop compelling narratives across employer, provider, payor, and consumer segments.
  • Partner with product, clinical, operations, sales, and client success teams to align strategic direction with platform innovation and revenue optimization.
  • Collaborate across clinical, operational, and digital functions to ensure strategy integration at all organizational levels.
  • Identify opportunities for ecosystem collaboration and network-based service design.
  • Deepen TELUS Health's Customer First culture through strategic customer experience initiatives.
  • Align marketing efforts with sales and client success functions to improve conversion, retention, and upsell performance.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to set and articulate a strategic vision and rally teams toward ambitious goals.
  • Experience scaling a digital business to significant enterprise value in a highly regulated or multi-market environment.
  • Deep understanding of the health and wellbeing value chain, including employer health, virtual care, payors, providers, and benefits platforms.
  • Ability to navigate the intersection of B2B and B2C healthcare models.
  • Strong command of modern marketing practices, including digital acquisition, brand strategy, content, ABM, and analytics.
  • Reputation for storytelling that inspires trust among customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Track record of driving measurable commercial growth in fast-moving, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial and operational literacy, including budget ownership and marketing ROI optimization.
  • Experience operating at the leading edge of market disruption, including use of generative AI, predictive analytics, and omni-channel delivery.
  • Exceptional communication and executive influence skills, capable of representing TELUS Health at board, investor, and partner levels.
