  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing analyst relations team, cultivating a culture of innovation, mentorship, and excellence.
  • Develop compelling, insight-rich narratives that clearly articulate Tanium's differentiated value proposition, product vision, and market positioning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Executive Communications, Sales, Public Relations and other key teams to craft compelling messaging and influence go-to-market efforts.
  • Serve as champion for category creation and differentiation, ensuring Tanium's vision resonates across industry narratives and analyst-led conversations.
  • Design and implement robust metrics to evaluate and optimize program impact, using both qualitative insight and data-driven results.
  • Establish and manage the analyst relations budget, including agency relationships, contracts, and vendor management.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in analyst relations, product marketing, communications, or strategic roles within enterprise technology.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling a global analyst relations function in a high-growth, category-defining environment.
  • Deep understanding of the analyst ecosystem with proven success influencing high-impact research and complex vendor evaluations (e.g., Magic Quadrants, Waves).
  • Executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills- able to serve as a credible external spokesperson and translate complex technical topics into compelling, audience-specific narratives.
  • Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset, with the ability to align AR efforts to enterprise-level goals and market opportunities.
  • Collaborative leadership style and a track record of cross-functional impact, particularly with product, marketing, communications, and sales organizations.
  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and budgets effectively.
