About the Role

The VP, Paid Search, is a senior leader overseeing a portfolio of important client accounts within the Paid Search service line at dentsu. Reporting to the SVP, Head of Paid Search, this role involves driving strategy, team leadership, and operational excellence across search programs. The position plays a critical role in shaping the agency's US Search offering, fostering innovation, mentoring future leaders, and promoting a collaborative, values-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and evangelize dentsu's paid search strategy; drive innovation and process optimization.
Lead directors and managers; oversee staffing, hiring, and talent development across the portfolio.
Provide strategic oversight, build strong client relationships, and ensure high performance and satisfaction.
Collaborate with platform partners (Google, Microsoft); support business development efforts.

Requirements

10+ years in digital and Paid Search marketing.
5+ years managing teams.
Expertise in Paid Search and familiarity with adjacent media channels.
Strong communicator and persuasive presenter.
Experience leading change.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

Experience in strategic management and customer relationship building.
Knowledge of SEM campaigns and operational efficiency improvements.
Change management and team development skills.
Business development and networking through strategic partnership building.
