About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main thought leader, creating and actively pushing a comprehensive data-led strategy that addresses client needs and determining investment allocation strategy across SEM, SEO, and affiliate investment teams.
• Operate as a connective tissue with internal stakeholder capabilities to ensure that all relevant teams are aware of media investment details and have a central point of contact to represent the broader.
• Identify business growth potentials and create business development plans.
• Lead applicable client relationships on behalf of Search, affiliate, and SEO teams.
• Articulate performance recommendations and vision against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Establish senior-level relationships with key client decision-makers and monitor account and relationship health.
• Develop an overarching QBR story for senior leadership.
• Assist in new business engagement.
• Evaluate merging technologies, and elevate strategies and tactical approaches as the performance media landscape evolves.
• Motivate and inspire a cross-section of team members from junior analysts through Directors to drive continual performance improvements in client business.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience directly related to Search Engine Marketing (Google, Yahoo!, Bing, etc.) with a focus on direct response campaigns (CPA, CPL, ROI, ROAS).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Strong command and expertise in managing bid optimization platforms (DART Search, Kenshoo, Marin).
• Advanced MS Excel fluency (pivot tables, charts, vlookup, sumifs).
• Experience in leveraging site analytics programs for SEM analysis and insights (Google Analytics, Omniture, CoreMetrics).
