About the Role

The Vice President, Social Strategy at Inizio Evoke Comms is a senior leadership role responsible for managing social media strategies across multiple client accounts, leading client relationships, mentoring teams, and contributing to business development. The role involves strategic oversight, financial management, and fostering an inclusive, innovative company culture aligned with the company's mission to advance health and wellbeing through impactful communication programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain relationships with core clients and external audiences and partners.
  • Serve as the lead strategic social media counsel for client engagements based on broad communications landscape and business goals; take immediate action on client feedback.
  • Lead all aspects of planning and execution of social media projects for clients, including annual program planning, ensuring timeliness, efficiency, and high-quality results.
  • Respond to client concerns with strategic guidance and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Manage financial tracking and administration related to social programming for key client engagements, including sharing updates and supporting projections.
  • Serve as a facilitator/moderator for social media-related client workshops and events.
  • Lead onboarding of new team members and serve as a mentor and resource for social and influencer best practices.
  • Provide feedback and support staff development through regular reviews and coaching.
  • Partner with agency and other specialty leads to deliver integrated programming recommendations.
  • Demonstrate strong strategic leadership and guide social strategy for assigned business.
  • Apply strong writing skills to all projects, providing editorial guidance and ensuring quality.
  • Lead client interactions and liaise with external partners such as vendors, social platform reps, and influencers.
  • Support new business proposals and identify opportunities for organic growth within accounts.
  • Support financial management by achieving billability goals, completing timesheets, and supporting budget development.
  • Participate in training, diversity initiatives, and internal company efforts, utilizing data for insights, and fostering positive organizational relationships.

Requirements

  • Typically has 10+ years of relevant experience in social media and digital strategy.
  • Experience managing multiple high-profile social media projects and client accounts.
  • Ability to manage 1-2+ direct reports and lead teams effectively.
  • Strong strategic thinking, presentation skills, and executive presence.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and working knowledge of YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, Bluesky.
  • Deep knowledge of social media tools such as Netbase, Brandwatch, Julius, and experience overseeing social audits and influencer discovery.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including editorial guidance and client-facing presentations.
  • Financial acumen related to social media and influencer budgets, including tracking, projections, and staffing assessments.
  • Ability to lead social listening and research projects to uncover insights.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
