About the Role

ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ have a contract to direct hire position available (conversion after 90 days possible). The Web Developer for Django Framework will work with a small team to design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise web applications aimed at modernizing data management and design information for customers. The role involves developing web applications that store project data in a relational database, providing complex rebuild, upgrade, and sustainment information, and supporting data mining for maintaining licensed software installs, license allocation, and system configurations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, test, and maintain web applications built on the Django Python Framework.
Work with a small team to build, test, deploy, and support enterprise web applications.
Create web applications that enable data storage, complex rebuilds, upgrades, and data mining for system maintenance and licensing.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining web applications on the Django Python Framework.
Minimum of 5 years of Web Developer experience with MS SQL.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Django Python Framework.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with GitLab and Git for version control.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with HTML 5, HTMX, JavaScript, and CSS.

Nice to Have

Additional experience or certifications in related web development technologies.
Experience working in enterprise environments or with data mining techniques.

Qualifications

Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.

Benefits & Perks

Competitive hourly rate of $72.00-$80.00 per hour (DOE).
Potential for contract to direct hire conversion after 90 days.
