About the Role

The Enterprise Workforce Planning & Intelligence Analyst is a vital member of our team, primarily responsible for generating deep, predictive insights into workforce trends, talent availability, and labor market dynamics. This role serves as our intelligence hub, collaborating extensively across the enterprise with Business Areas, Functional Councils, HR, Finance, Program Management, and key stakeholders. Your focus will be on developing advanced, predictive analytics that directly support Strategic Workforce Planning, Headcount Planning, and Resource Management. The role involves designing Key Performance Indicators related to workforce planning, leveraging specialized internal teams for analytical tools and dashboards, and establishing partnerships with internal and external data providers to ensure a forward-looking understanding of the talent landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the research, collection, and analysis of diverse internal and external workforce data to generate predictive insights on talent supply, demand, gap/surplus conditions, attrition risks, critical skill gaps, and labor market trends.
  • Define requirements and methodology for advanced, predictive analytical models and algorithms, working closely with data science, analytics, and IT teams to scope, design, and validate these models and their integration into dashboards.
  • Establish and manage relationships with external labor market intelligence vendors, research firms, and data suppliers, evaluating new data sources and technologies to enhance predictive capabilities.
  • Partner with internal HRIS, Finance, and other data owners to ensure data quality, accessibility, and seamless integration for comprehensive workforce analysis and scenario modeling.
  • Engage proactively with business leaders, functional managers, and HR Business Partners to understand strategic objectives and translate complex business questions into analytical frameworks.
  • Translate complex analytical findings and predictive models into clear, concise, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with vendors and analytics development teams to define requirements for dashboards, reporting tools, and self-service analytics platforms.
  • Monitor internal and external talent strategies, compensation trends, and workforce models to inform workforce planning, talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts.
  • Identify potential workforce risks and opportunities through data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Support ad-hoc strategic analysis, survey responses, and urgent business needs.

Requirements

  • Experience in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Human Resources, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or research roles with a focus on workforce analytics, talent intelligence, or labor market analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing analytical approaches for predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
  • Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources (internal and external).
  • Experience in defining requirements for data visualization tools and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and working effectively with development teams.
  • Strong understanding of labor market dynamics, talent acquisition strategies, and HR business processes.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and create solutions in dynamic environments.
  • Sense of urgency, ability to remain calm under pressure, adaptive, resilient, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to lead, learn, and thrive in complex system-of-systems and process-of-processes environments.

Nice to Have

  • Program/Project Management including iterative backlog prioritization.
  • Exceptional collaborative, consultative, and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience researching, evaluating, and working with external labor market intelligence vendors.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Advanced Excel, statistical software) and familiarity with SQL/coding concepts.
  • Familiarity with labor market datasets, Data Lake, and connecting/joining multiple data sources.
