About the Role

The Florida International University (FIU) is a top public university with high research activity and a focus on learner success in a diverse, global city. The university serves over 56,000 students and offers numerous nationally ranked programs. The position is part of the Pre College team, seeking a student to support social media and multimedia projects, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to promote student access and success.

Key Responsibilities

Works closely with the Program Staff to follow calendar and aid in content creation for social media
Assists with analytics collection for social media accounts
Assists with the design and production of multimedia projects including videos, and print/digital materials
Assists with presentations and orientations as needed

Requirements

Knowledge of Adobe, Canva, Instagram, Facebook
Customer Service Knowledge
Basic Level of Microsoft Word Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
Ability to take direction and work independently as needed
Ability to work in a team setting
Students enrolled at FIU with Federal Work Study award
Minimum of six (6) credit hours in a course of study leading to a degree or a Financial Aid eligible certificate during Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters

Nice to Have

Experience with graphic design and content creation
Familiarity with social media analytics tools
