Social Media Coordinator

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule daily content across multiple Facebook and Instagram pages (including B2B and B2C), as well as LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and other platforms.
• Maintain a rolling 30-day content calendar for each show market with a mix of promotional, informative, and engaging content.
• Create and publish event pages and new social accounts for upcoming shows, ensuring consistency in branding and functionality.
• Collaborate with the creative team to produce graphics, reels, videos, stories, and exhibitor spotlights using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Engage and moderate comments, DMs, and inquiries across all platforms in a timely, professional manner—responding within 24 hours.
• Actively post and participate in relevant Facebook groups to drive awareness, vendor interest, and community engagement.
• Coordinate and publish sponsor, client, and giveaway content within 2 business days.
• Promote individual clients and exhibitors through dedicated social posts, tagging, and campaign inclusion.
• Collaborate with advertising partners, venues, and clients to develop and execute cross-promotional content and campaigns.
• Identify and coordinate with local influencers to promote shows, support giveaways, and increase reach in each market.
• Track and report on social media KPIs including page growth, reach, engagement, group activity, lead generation, post performance, and conversion trends.
• Use tools like Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, HubSpot, or similar to schedule, manage, and report content performance.
• Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure campaigns align with lead generation goals and event timelines.
• Stay organized using Asana and other task management tools.
• Be available for client calls and meetings to support promotional efforts and gather campaign needs.
• Identify and share qualified vendor or sponsor leads from social engagement as a secondary responsibility.

Requirements

• 2+ years managing multiple social media accounts (event experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and other major platforms.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, CRMs, and tools like Sprout Social or HubSpot.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Comfortable engaging with users and representing a brand voice online.
• Strong organization, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
