As a Summer Marketing Operations & Sales Intern, you will work with the Thoroughbred Bulk Terminal (TBT) Operations and Sales team, supporting efforts to maximize profitability, develop new business opportunities, and manage day-to-day terminal operations. The role involves analyzing data, understanding supply chains, and collaborating with commercial sales teams to generate leads and insights.

Key Responsibilities

Work on the Thoroughbred Bulk Terminal (TBT) Operations and Sales team, supporting terminal operations and sales activities.
Develop new business leads in conjunction with the commercial sales teams.
Analyze data related to current business opportunities and supply chain solutions at terminals.
Understand and study the supply chains of customers to provide actionable insights.
Participate in team activities including crafting and delivering presentations.
Spend time in the field at terminals to gain practical understanding of operations.

Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree.
Strong analytical skills to analyze data related to opportunities and supply chains.
Solid interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members, operators, leadership, and customers.
Ability to participate on high-functioning teams and deliver presentations.
Self-starter willing to learn supply chain complexities and spend time in the field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Preferred degree paths include Supply Chain Management, Lean Operations, Logistics, Economics, Management, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or Statistics.

Nice to Have

Experience or coursework related to supply chain, logistics, or operations.
Previous internship or work experience in transportation or logistics fields.

Qualifications

Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Benefits & Perks

Monthly compensation based on academic standing, ranging from $3,398 to $5,200.
Living stipend of $850/month available to qualifying students.
