Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow Cosentino's product awareness, acceptance, and sales to the contract design, commercial, and residential segments for interior and exterior applications.
  • Identify, pursue, and increase sales and brand loyalty by calling on architects, designers, fabricators, developers, and related contractors while collaborating with the Cosentino Sales Team.
  • Create short- and long-term sales plans to penetrate architectural and design firms, developers, corporate accounts, new property owners, and service providers to gain specifications and sales of work surfaces, flooring, interior cladding, and exterior facades.
  • Execute sales plans within agreed timelines and manage own sales budget, maintaining discipline to stay within assigned sales and expense budgets.
  • Promote the organization's products through formal presentations to architects, designers, and targeted organizations.
  • Represent and promote Cosentino in the community by hosting and attending local chapter events for ASID, IIDA & AIA, and other associations.
  • Develop new project opportunities through personal sales efforts and relationships with architects, designers, building owners, and property management firms involved in new development or renovation work.
  • Maintain accurate relationships, product placement, and project details in the project management database (Salesforce CRM).
  • Manage and communicate in a timely manner across all parties to ensure successful sales implementation, including updating sales collateral, technical data, samples, mockups, and proposals.
  • Coordinate with Account Managers, business partners, fabricators, and installation contractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Continuously learn about Cosentino Surfacing Products, application, and specification requirements, as well as fabrication and installation processes, to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management based on key sales information related to markets and regions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of building materials, construction, or commercial projects sales experience.
  • 2+ years of proven capacity to interact with multiple levels within all faces of commercial industry projects.
  • 1+ year of business development experience.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Desired: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Knowledge of stone fabrication or distribution is preferred.
  • Experience in building materials is preferred.
