About the Role

The Prenatal Account Executive at BillionToOne is responsible for driving market development and increasing utilization of the UNITY Fetal Risk Screen by directly engaging with OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors. This role involves building and managing relationships within the healthcare sector, delivering clinical information, and influencing how the diagnostic test is communicated and evolved to meet market needs. The position is part of a passionate team dedicated to transforming healthcare through innovative molecular diagnostics and aims to make life-changing diagnostics accessible to all.

Key Responsibilities

  • Increasing utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and driving market development through direct sales to individual OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors
  • Identifying, developing, and managing commercial relationships with key opinion leaders in medicine and other healthcare professionals
  • Effectively prospecting and cultivating new business and maintaining key relationships
  • Identifying and capitalizing on commercial opportunities for growth within a specific region or geography, primarily in OBGYN, MFM, and GC clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers
  • Creating and implementing a strategic business plan to grow utilization quickly in your geography
  • Managing the full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation
  • Attending local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events

Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) years of outside field sales experience within the healthcare sector, directly calling upon providers in the specified geographic territory
  • Demonstrated successful sales track record, with effective selling, listening, presentation skills, and ability to assess and respond to customer needs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities
  • Bright, flexible, self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Act with a sense of urgency and focus on closing business
  • Ability to assess the needs of medical professionals and staff with a focus on consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics surrounding patient information
  • Demonstrated values and ethics supporting BillionToOne's mission and professional conduct

Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of outside healthcare sales experience
  • Proven success in sales and relationship management within healthcare
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA laws and patient privacy standards
