About the Role

The Account Executive role at Terminix involves selling pest management services and products to new and existing commercial customers across various market segments such as hospitality, food & beverage processing, healthcare, and retail. The position is part of a results-oriented environment where employees undergo comprehensive training to understand pest management solutions, conduct inspections, and develop proposals to generate sales. Key Responsibilities

  • Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross-selling
  • Visually inspect buildings for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.
  • Sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance based on assessment findings for commercial customers
  • Craft territory development strategies to exceed sales targets
  • Learn and maintain complete knowledge of Rentokil's programs, protocols, pricing policies, and service offerings
  • Build partnerships and collaborate effectively with internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and ensure outstanding service delivery
  • Complete daily activities and sales performance tracking using the company sales CRM

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license from your current state of residence
  • Strong social, customer service, and communication skills
  • Preferred two years of experience in Business to Business sales, especially prospecting skills such as cold calling, lead generation, and networking
  • Self-motivated with a hunter's mentality and ability to work independently
  • Ability to obtain any required industry licenses (provided and paid for by the company)
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% within assigned territory
  • Must pass pre-employment background screening
  • Comfortable dealing with different pests and working in confined spaces
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and handle physical demands such as lifting up to 20 lbs., climbing, balancing, and working in various environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience in Business to Business sales
  • Prospecting skills including cold calling, lead generation, and networking

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain industry licenses (paid for by the company)
