Key Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects inside and outside the client base of Xerox Business Solutions.
  • Gain initial appointments with key decision makers such as CIOs, CEOs, Presidents, Owners within the SMB space.
  • Determine customer pain points related to management of their IT environment, technology, and assets.
  • Conduct follow-up on opportunities and present the benefits of Xerox IT services, including financial justification and performance improvements.
  • Lead strategic discussions regarding IT strategies to a non-technical audience.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop opportunities and qualify/quantify leads.
  • Achieve a specified number of new accounts each month through telemarketing, networking, and cold calling campaigns.
  • Develop and track opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with other divisions to participate in cross-selling opportunities and maximize sales potential.
  • Create proposals in collaboration with vCIO and sales staff to meet client IT objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience in Managed IT services preferred.
  • Experience selling IT solutions such as Network, Data Center, Managed Services, Cloud Services, and Security Solutions.
  • Self-directed, adaptable, and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • High energy level and a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to take risks and try innovative approaches.
  • Valid Driver's License with a relatively clean driving record.

Nice to Have

  • Specific experience selling IT solutions including Network, Data Center, Managed Services, Cloud Services, and Security Solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Managed IT services.
