The role of Account Executive involves partnering with brands and agencies to leverage Roku's advertising platform, supporting the company's mission to be the leading TV streaming ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieving aggressive advertising revenue goals
  • Prospecting, researching, developing, and pitching media plans to advertising partners across Independent Agencies
  • Presenting Roku product suite and selling in strategic opportunities
  • Proactively building and maintaining a pipeline of sales targets, contacts, and opportunities via existing connections and cold calling
  • Providing campaign management, optimization, reporting, recaps, and lead upsell opportunities
  • Responding to RFPs and collaborating on custom content solutions
  • Supporting research in developing winning case studies
  • Building reliable and accurate revenue projections and forecasts
  • Collaborating with cross-functional internal teams to service agencies, build proposals, and strategize

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience owning a book of business as an Account Executive or similar role
  • Programmatic selling experience
  • Understanding of the TV, digital, and/or ad tech ecosystem
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice to Have

  • Experience planning, buying, or selling broadcast television or digital media
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Confidence operating amidst ambiguity
  • Understanding of Independent Agencies and their business needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years' experience in account management or similar sales roles
